Looking for exciting books you could add to your Kindle before going on summer holiday?

Take a look at the list of Top 100 Kindle bestsellers of 2018 so far. The chart ranks Kindle ebooks that were either bought or read using subscriptions like Kindle Unlimited and Amazon Prime Reading.
The clear winner after six months of 2018 is Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury. Released on January 5, 2018, the book documents in detail first nine months of Donald Trump’s hectic presidency, and shows how and why the 45th President of the United States has become “the king of discord and disunion.”

One of the most controversial biographies of recent years is followed by a thriller written by Melinda Leigh and released in May by Amazon’s romance imprint Montlake. Say You’re Sorry is the first book in a new series featuring former prosecutor Morgan Dane. After return to her hometown, she faces the most personal – and deadly – case of her lifetime.
Eoin Dempsey’s White Rose, Black Forest takes position #3. Set in Europe during World War 2, the book follows German dissenter Franka Gerber, who finds near her family’s isolated cabin an unconscious Luftwaffe airman. It soon turns out that he is not who he seems.
It’s worth pointing out that bestselling titles for Kindle stay longer on the Top 100 list than print books. Last year’s #1 Kindle bestseller, The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is ranked #4 after six months of 2018. The 5th place is taken by the 2017 second-best book, Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan.

Below, you will see Top 5 with book blurb, and underneath it a table with Top 20 Kindle bestsellers. Next to each title, you can find information about Kindle Unlimited eligibility.
As you will see, only two books (Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff, and Minka Kent’s The Thinnest Air) can’t be accessed via Amazon’s popular digital subscription. In total, some 90% of Kindle bestsellers are available for Kindle Unlimited members.
